In recent days Moss has delivered a new printing line model MO 4013 to an European manufacturer, undisputed market leader, whose products have been decorated by Moss machines for years now.
The MO 4013 is a dry-offset printing machine equipped with 8-station horizontal rotating turret with indexing movement, using solid mandrels produced by casting in sand. The machine can be configured to apply up to 6 colors on pails having round cross-section from 1 up to 25 liters and productivities reaching 40 pieces per minute (in relation to container size) and maximum printing area of 1095mm.
The operator has a wide and easy elevated work area that allows him to dominate the whole printing head and carry out different types of setting and cleaning operations, thanks to advanced monitoring done via portable B&R panel.
The MO 4013 can be complemented by fully automatic denesting and restacking units, developed by Moss.
Moss division oriented to pail offset printing was born in the late 80s, when the prototype of the MO 4013 was delivered to a major European company. To this day, that first model is still in operation, to confirm the soundness and reliability of the equipment.
Over the years Moss has expanded the range of equipment meant for plastic pail printing. The offer is the widest today available worldwide. Indeed, you can choose single-color automatic screen printers, dry-offset equipment with printing head up to 8 colors, lacquering machines for over-varnish application, as well as heat-transfer machines for the application of dry-toner digital printed images.
